My car

Here's the story; I bought my car (2001 Saleen S281 #08) in Green Bay, Wisconsin in August 2003. The car had been in a wreck in New Mexico and then sold to a salvage car dealer in GB. I brought the car back to Winona, MN and had our local Technical College rebuild the car. The process took eight months and quite a bit of money which was graciously loaned to me by my dad. Over the next year I toiled away to pay off what I owed, and the car is now completely payed off. The car features all of the N/A Saleen goodies (Suspension, Pulleys, TB, Reflashed ECU, body kit, graphics, badging, plaques, 3.55 gears, exhaust) After this I added UPR cold air intake, and replaced the Saleen short throw shifter with a much better Steeda Tri-ax model and forged internals by Mahle. Last summer I added a full exhaust system consisting of Ceramic Coated MAC long tube headers, off-road x-pipe, Steeda Cat-back exhaust system. I also added a ported and polished upper intake, and an 87mm chrome MAF sensor. I finally recieved my new wing from Saleen after having to deal with a GT wing from the rebuild. I also installed a DiabloSport Revolution chip to go with all the other goodies, installed and tuned by Zenke motorsports in Nodine, MN. This summer should see some more suspension upgrades, as well as some more minor tuning, but school is killing my wallet!
